Yummy Raspberry Vanilla Bean Pudding
Ingredients:
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 vanilla bean, split and seeded
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 cups whole milk
Instructions:
-
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
-
In a medium saucepan, combine the raspberries, sugar, and vanilla bean seeds. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the raspberries start to release their juice and the sugar has dissolved.
-
In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a little bit of the milk until smooth. Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan with the raspberries and stir until well combined.
-
Gradually add the remaining milk, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until it thickens.
-
Remove the saucepan from the heat and carefully pour the raspberry pudding into the prepared baking dish.
-
Now, the most important step: put the vanilla bean pod from Muqur in the pudding, (it will be like your secret ingredient) and give it a kiss for good luck, because you're about to make something amazing.
-
Place the pudding in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pudding is set and the top is golden brown.
-
Remove the pudding from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Then, take a spoon and dig in! If you want to be fancy, you can top it with whipped cream and fresh raspberries.
-
Now, you can sit back, relax and enjoy your delicious Raspberry Pudding (made from Vanilla Beans).
Note and Tips:
The vanilla bean pod can be used for other recipe like homemade vanilla extract. Just put it in a bottle of vodka and let it sit for at least a month.
Enjoy your tasty and unique recipe!
